Matthew 14:22-32Jesus’ encounter with the disciples in the midst of the storm.

Look to Jesus and be saved

John 3:1-17 As we listen in on this surprising conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus, some profound truths are revealed for us about how we can have eternal life. We must undergo a spiritual re-birth, made possible only by trusting in Jesus death on the cross. And even more astounding is that all this is an act of God’s incredible love for a world full of rebels.

Trusting God alone as our rest and refuge

Psalm 62 The Psalmist recounts his experience of true safety, salvation, and rest in God despite the ongoing assault of his enemies. Drawing on this testimony, he implores the faith community to similarly seek refuge in God, for true rest and content can only be found in Him.

The Disciples’ Journey

Luke 9:51-10:4 Discipleship calls for single-minded clarity, and is to be lived out in a world that hates and opposes you, but can be lived confidently because we are children of God’s grace and eternal salvation.

The Gospel Unchained

Philippians 1:12-30 Paul’s focus on the gospel gave him a completely different perspective even though he was in prison in chains. Sharing Paul’s heart ‘to live is Christ and to die is gain’ will enable us to share his focus for the world.

Prayer and Praise

Ephesians 3:14-21 In this passage, Paul is praying for the Christians in Ephesus and the surrounding regions that they may be strengthened in their faith by more deeply understanding Christ’s love for them. We too must be praying for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and in this message, we will be exploring some practical prayers that God desires His people to pray.

A new day dawns

John 20:11-18 John’s Gospel records Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Jesus. Today, we reflect on the significance of what Mary saw, heard and said that first Easter Sunday, and celebrate, with Mary, this fact – Jesus has risen!

It is Finished!

John 19:17-37 As Jesus hangs on the cross, and breathes his last breath, he cries out “it is finished!” The mission of salvation for which his was sent has been completed. All of the types, promises, and prophecies from the Old testament are now fully accomplished in him. This is a momentous proclamation, and it changes everything. As we look to the cross this Good Friday, we mustn’t miss the significance of what has been accomplished in Christ.

Greatness in the Kingdom of God

Mark 9:30-37 We all have predispositions when it comes to understanding what constitutes ‘greatness’. Wile we may attribute factors such as success and influence as indications of greatness, in this passage Jesus redefines what it means to be truly great in the eyes of God.
