Getting connected with others
Here’s some tips on how to get connected at City North:
- Take a ‘Welcome Pack’ containing information about the church from the brochure holders next to the doors inside the auditorium.
- Take opportunities to introduce yourself to others such as over morning tea after the morning service, or by joining a Bible study.
- Get involved in the life of the church by using your talents to serve others.
Every few months, City North holds a ‘Newcomers Lunch’ where people who have recently started coming to the church have a chance to chat with the pastors over lunch, and find out more about the church’s history, future direction and how to get involved. Contact us for details.
Courses to help you find out more
If you’re curious about Jesus and Christianity, check out the ‘Need Jesus?’ part of this website. If you’d like to find out more, just ask one of our pastors – we’d love to take you through an easy-to-understand, non-threatening course. Contact us for details.
Becoming a member
City North operates through a group of ‘members’ who are baptised Christians committed to the life of the church. Members meetings are held four or more times a year, where the pastors and elders, who act on the members’ behalf, present items of business for the members’ consideration and vote. Contact us if you’d like to consider becoming a member at City North.
