Hebrews 11:1 – 12:3 In the ‘Hall of Faith’ in Hebrews we see a collection of figures from the Old Testament that were used by God for His purposes. Each of these were justified by faith as they looked to the heavenly kingdom that was waiting to be revealed. A Question of Authority
Mark 11:27-33, 12:1-12 This Sunday morning, we hear of the grand claim of authority that Jesus made in His discussions with the Pharisees, claiming to have the authority of heaven. We also see in Mark 12 how Jesus was rejected by the Jewish leaders of the time, He was despised and rejected by mankind (Isaiah 53:3), for they did not see that their Messiah had come.
