John is humbled by the love and grace God has shown to him in the gospel. He is married to Megan and they have three young children (Gemma, Amelia and Joshua). Coming from a background in engineering, John undertook theological studies at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. He then served for 4 years as a pastor in Biloela before joining the team at City North in 2017.
John loves communicating the truth of God’s Word and seeing people respond wholeheartedly to the grace of God in Jesus. He has a strong desire to see families and children introduced to Jesus and to support Christian parents in discipling their children. John enjoys spending time with his family and doing anything active in the outdoors, especially sailing.
