Mainly Music is a network of music groups catering for parents and their young children throughout Australia, New Zealand and parts of the USA. City North hosts a weekly Mainly Music group.
At Mainly Music, children learn through their involvement in musical activities – motor skills are enhanced, communication skills are improved and social skills are developed.
During Mainly Music sessions, mums, dads and caregivers, along with their children, use action and rhyme to learn great songs that interest young children. After the music, there is time to chat over morning tea.
Mainly Music is a very popular program with over 30 children (and parents and caregivers) attending each week.
Cost: People are asked to contribute $5.00 per family for each session they attend.
