If you cringe when you hear theological terms such as predestination, election, calvinism and arminianism or if you want to bury your head in the sand when conversations about the end times and the future of Israel come up… then this new series is for you. God does not want us to be passive in our attempts to grapple with His reality, He calls us to seek how high, wide, deep and long is His love for us in Christ – so by His grace this is what we will do as we look at Romans 9-11.

May 21-22 is our mission focus weekend. The gospel is truly for all… it is for all people to hear and for all Christians to share, so join with us as we grapple with what embracing this reality might look like for us as individuals as well as for us as a church. Tim Silberman will bring some challenging Bible teaching and mission organisations will be on hand to offer opportunities to investigate what a life of mission could look like for you.

Mark’s Gospel is an exciting and fast paced look at the life of Jesus. The focus is on Jesus’ authority as God’s King and it is most clearly seen in His encounters with various individuals, groups and even powers. Join us over the next few months as we encoutner Jesus in this powerful look at His life. Starting March 6th.

As we continue to look at sharing Jesus in our daily lives this year it is important that we settle an issue in our own hearts first. It is easy to sit in church each week and sing and share about our hope in God but I wonder what the people we work with would say we are hoping in? A life that truly hopes in Christ is so radically different to this world that it will be a cause for confusion, discussion and most importantly questions.

“The Gospel!” We say the word a lot but do we really know what it is? How many times have you been stuck trying to explain to someone what Christianity is all about? In our Night Services we are going to begin the year by taking a deeper look at the gospel for 3 weeks.

One of the challenges of the200walk which our own Andrew Carnell is currently taking part in was to adopt a people group who don’t have any translation work happening in their language and to pray for them throughout the course of the walk…
