Services

All Are Welcome

We are a church that gathers every Sunday to worship God, hear from
His Word, and grow together as a community. Whether you are new or
have been in church for years, you are welcome here.

Worship Together

God calls us to be a worshipping community

People who respond to His great mercy by offering our whole lives in worship (Romans 12:1). As part of this, we gather together as followers of Jesus to celebrate who He is, learn from His Word, serve one another with the gifts He has given us, and share life together in genuine community.

A Multigenerational Gathering

9:00 AM

A multigenerational service where we gather together to worship through singing, prayer and a sermon followed by morning tea. Kids ministries and Teen church (hyperlink to pages on website) are available during the morning service for children aged 1 through to Grade 9.

A Contemporary Evening Service

5:30 PM

A contemporary, relaxed gathering for people of all ages with teaching that resonates especially with youth and young adults. Once a month, we gather for dinner together after the service at Fellowship Feeds.

If you are unable to join us in person, you can still be part of our service through our Live Stream

What to Expect

What Happens at Church

We know visiting a new church can feel like a big step. Here’s what you can expect when you come to City North.

We have plenty of parking available, including onsite parking and street parking nearby. You’re welcome to park anywhere in the church car park. A number of clearly marked spaces are reserved for people with disabilities.

Our services usually go for around 70-90 minutes, followed by a time of fellowship together after the service.

Communion is a time when Christians remember and celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection by sharing bread and grape juice as symbols of his body and blood.

If you’re still exploring faith in Jesus, you’re welcome to simply observe this part of the service.

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! There is no pressure to dress a certain way to attend church. Most people wear casual attire.

You do not need to bring a bible. If you have one, we’d love you to bring it with you! However, all readings will be displayed on the screen, and we will have spare bibles available if you would like to use one throughout the service.

Giving is a personal act of worship in gratitude to God for his generosity towards us. The regular ministry of the church is sustained by the generous giving of its members. For this reason, we regularly share details on how to give online or by cash during the service. However, there is no expectation for visitors to give.

There are plenty of parents with young children at City North, and young children are welcome in our services!

If your child becomes unsettled, or if you are a mother with a baby to feed, feel free to use the two Parents’ Rooms located near the main entrance to the church auditorium. These rooms are equipped with toys, baby change facilities, and a live stream to allow you to continue participating in the service.

Our building is fully accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. There are two accessible car spots right at the front of the building, and wheelchair access is available throughout the church, including an accessible toilet.

Inside the auditorium, two wheelchair spaces are reserved near the entrance - one on the left and one on the right - clearly marked with signs. We hope these facilities help everyone feel comfortable and included during our services.
