Kids Ministry

Kids are a precious and vital part of church life at City North. We are committed to helping children grow as disciples of Jesus in a safe, fun, and Christ-centred environment.

Our Vision

Our vision for the children of City North is for them to become maturing young disciples of Jesus who love God, understand and respond to the gospel, treasure God’s Word, and begin a life of service to Him.

Kids Programs

A Place For Every Child

We offer a range of programs designed to help children learn about God, grow in faith, and build friendships.

Nursery

The Nursery operates during the 9:00am church service to supervise children aged 1 to 3 years.

Children enjoy free play, reading books, and simple craft activities in our indoor and outdoor toddler area.

Kids Church

Kids Church is a fun and welcoming space where children learn about God through songs, crafts, games, and Bible stories.

We offer two age appropriate programs during school terms:

  • Junior Kids Church – for children aged 3 years to Grade 2
  • Kids Church – for children in Grades 3 to 6

Children begin the morning in the church auditorium at 9:00am, joining the adults for the first part of the service. Around 9:30am, they head to their Kids Church rooms. Parents collect their children after the main service finishes.

Mainly Music

Mainly Music is a fun and interactive music and movement program followed by free play and morning tea.

It is a great opportunity for families to connect, spend time with their child, and help develop social skills.

Held during school terms

Wednesday mornings 9:30am – 11:00am

We provide morning tea for parents and carers, and ask that you bring your own morning tea for your children.

Cost: $4 per child or $6 per family per week

Kids Holiday Club

Kids Holiday Club is an exciting week long program for children in Prep to Grade 6, held during the September school holidays.

Each day is filled with drama, Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, and small group discussions, helping children hear the good news of Jesus in a fun and engaging way.
